Softball Prospect Camp #3

The University of North Georgia Softball Program proudly invites you to learn the fundamentals of the game. Join head coach Mike Davenport and his staff as you sharpen your skills, increase your understanding of the game of softball, and display your talents. The experienced staff will provide instruction to help you become a better softball player.

Prospect camp is open to any high school player who will be entering their freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year in the fall of 2014 and to junior college athletes who have the aspirations to play at the next level. This camp will provide players with the fundamentals they will take with them for years to come, while also helping players be seen by college coaches.

Each camp is limited to the first 50 applicants. Campers will be divided into teams for daily instruction and games. Campers will receive individual instruction in the morning sessions and play games to showcase their skills during afternoon sessions. All campers need: tennis shoes and cleats/turfs, socks, bat & glove, softball hat & pants, t-shirt & shorts, cooler (optional).

DO NOT BRING valuable items: UNG is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED - Campers will have a one hour lunch break from 12:00-1:00 pm. There will be no transportation, housing, or meals provided. Participants are only allowed to leave the complex with parent/guardian and permission from staff.

Camp check-in is 8:45
Camp hours are 9:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Campers should be picked up at the softball field by 4:00 pm.

Notes:All campers must complete and return the Sports Camp Liability & Medical Waiver Form as proof of a physical examination within the past school year (since November 2011).
